The differentiated reading materials are created within the framework of the scientific research project RegioDiff, which is carried out from 2019 to 2021 as a cooperation project of the Private University College of Teacher Education, University of Graz, University College of Teacher Education Styria and Wohlhart Lernsoftware. Lisa Paleczek is the project leader.

 

 

Lisa Paleczek is an assistant professor in the field of inclusive education at University of Graz. Her dissertation focused on the development of reading and language skills of children with high linguistic diversity in primary school settings, and was awarded the Lebenshilfe Research and Support Prize.

Daniela Ender is a subject specialist in the field of inclusive education at the Private University College of Teacher Education and a research assistant at the Research Center for Inclusive Education. She is the deputy project manager at RegioDiff and is writing her dissertation within the project.

Susanne Seifert is an assistant professor in the field of inclusive education at the University of Graz. She wrote her dissertation as part of the LARS project, which was awarded the 2017 Research Prize by the Province of Styria. In the summer of 2019 she published a book on inclusive reading instruction with Springer in cooperation with Lisa Paleczek.

In the RegioDiff project, she is jointly responsible for the development of the Graz Reading Comprehension Test (Grazer Leseverständnisnistest, GraLeV).

David Wohlhart is a lecturer at the Private University College of Teacher Education in the Department of Inclusion and deputy head of the Research Centre Inclusive Education. His work and research focuses on primary school, inclusive didactics, professionalization and digitalisation. He is the founder of the company Wohlhart Lernsoftware and is dedicated to the production of educational software and the conception of digital learning environments.

Gerda Kernbichler teaches at the Institute for Secondary General Education at the University of Teacher Education Styria. She is the study programme director for nutrition, health and consumption and head of the Centre for Nutrition and Health Education.

In her dissertation "Training and supervision of teachers with the introduction of innovative forms of teaching using the example of cooperative learning arrangements (KOOP-LEA)" she focused on cooperative learning methods. In RegioDiff, she led the project-related in-service training for teachers on the creation of differentiated materials in secondary schools and on their implementation in primary schools.

Martina Kalcher studied education, and then completed a Master's degree in Inclusive Education and Continuing Education and a PhD at the University of Graz. She works in research projects on the topic of inclusion in schools and is a professor at the Private University College of Teacher Education in the Department of Educational Sciences as well as a research associate at the Research Center for Inclusive Education.

Anneliese Franz was a professor at the the Private University College of Teacher Education for the subject area of language & literacy (learning assessment and learning process support in German) as well as visual education & handicrafts. She was an academic university didactic and worked in the "Competence Centre for Learning Process Support and Learning Organisation" at the Private University College of Teacher Education: Learning process support and learning organisation in the area of written language acquisition; development of diagnostic and learning materials for written language acquisition, conception and implementation of further training.

Elisabeth Stabler works at the Private University College of Teacher Education. Her teaching and research focuses on subject-integrated reading promotion, the acquisition of written language, the design of learning environments and children's and young people's literature at primary level.
